Your information

Effective 26 October 2026 · Notice version 2026-10-26.2

This notice covers ThrottleSync reservations, aircraft support requests, product-update subscriptions and the related customer inbox.

Who is responsible

Delft Sky Technology, based in Delft, Netherlands, is responsible for this information. Contact info@throttlesync.nl for privacy questions, to manage a request or to exercise your rights.

What we collect and why

  • Reservations: your name, email, country or region, colour choice and mounting setup, plus your main aircraft if you choose to provide it. We use these details to respond to your reservation and prepare a possible order, including aircraft and mounting requirements. This processing supports steps you request before entering a contract.
  • Aircraft requests and optional feedback: the aircraft, developer, simulator and any hardware experience, upgrade reasons or feature suggestions you provide. We use these to respond, plan support and improve the product. Our legitimate interest is understanding customer needs and managing development requests. We use country information to understand regional demand and contact context.
  • Customer management: correspondence-related notes, request status, and voucher eligibility/redemption. Our legitimate interests are keeping requests organised, honouring the advertised discount and preventing duplicate redemption. We may match requests using the same email address.
  • Product updates: your email address, the consent text and its version, confirmation/unsubscribe times, and the time of the most recent update accepted by our mail provider. We send updates only with your consent, after email confirmation. A reservation or aircraft request does not subscribe you.
  • Security and delivery: your IP address is processed when connecting, and temporarily converted to a keyed identifier for rate limiting. We keep limited event records, request IDs and email delivery status to operate and protect the service. This is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and keeping the forms reliable.

The reservation fields marked required are needed to handle that form. For aircraft requests, only name, email and country or region are required. Optional feedback can be left blank; the stated €5 voucher conditions still apply. Do not include payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information in free-text answers.

Voucher eligibility uses the answers specified beside the form. We can review it manually if you think the result is wrong. The form service does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automation, or automatically send your answers to AI services.

Who handles the information

Access is limited to the people handling ThrottleSync requests. We use Contabo for the website and private form database, and TransIP for email delivery and our customer-contact mailbox. These providers process information needed to supply their services. Confirmation and receipt emails contain limited information rather than a copy of all your answers. A new reservation also sends a notification with its reference number to our customer-contact mailbox; the full answers stay in the private inbox.

We manage the service from the Netherlands, and the form database is hosted in Contabo's EU region. Data-processing agreements with Contabo and TransIP cover their handling of this information. Contact us for details about provider subprocessors and any applicable safeguards for processing outside the European Economic Area.

Your own email provider also handles emails delivered to you. We do not sell your form information or share it with advertisers. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Open aircraft requests365 days after the last recorded case update.
Closed or completed requests90 days after the final case update.
Unconfirmed subscriptions7 days. Confirmation links expire after 48 hours.

Queued email / delivery historyUnsent queued emails: up to 7 days. Sent, cancelled or uncertain-delivery email contents: up to 30 days after their last status update.
Security records and update draftsApplication event records: 90 days. Update drafts/campaign text: 180 days, unless an associated email is still being processed. Rate-limit identifiers expire within one hour and are removed during hourly cleanup.
Rotating form-database backups14 days. Deleted information can remain in an encrypted backup until that backup expires.

Automatic cleanup runs hourly. A real case update can extend an open request's retention. We keep information only while it is needed and can remove it sooner when an appropriate deletion request is made.

These periods apply to the form service. Replies in the contact mailbox are reviewed and removed within 24 months after the last contact unless still needed for an active order, warranty matter or legal claim. Necessary invoices and other statutory business records are handled separately for their applicable legal retention period; the form service does not collect payments or store payment-card details.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe using the link in any product update or by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out while consent was valid.

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or, where applicable, a portable copy of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@throttlesync.nl from the address used for the form where possible. We may ask for proportionate verification so we do not disclose someone else's data; please do not send an identity document unless specifically needed and requested.

We aim to respond within one month and will explain any lawful reason for an extension or for retaining particular information. You may complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or another competent data protection authority.

Security and browser storage

Public submissions use HTTPS. Customer answers, email addresses and private notes are encrypted in the database. The customer inbox requires a private connection and an access token. We restrict access to the encryption keys and database backups. No system can guarantee absolute security.

The forms do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The private management inbox uses an essential session cookie that expires after 15 minutes. Following links to external services such as YouTube or Discord brings you under those services' privacy terms.

We will update this notice when the service or its data use changes. The version above identifies the notice associated with new submissions.
